Had a drink at the restaurant on a hot Perth afternoon. Didn’t get to try food as it was outside meal time. The service was quite attentive, which makes it a pleasant experience. Architecturally designed hotel by Kerry Hill, indeed worthwhile of a visit.

Our recent visit to Post Restaurant in Perth was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience. Every dish we ordered was crafted with care and attention to detail. We started with the beef carpaccio and fish crudo, both of which were fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with delicate flavors. The beef carpaccio was expertly seasoned, while the fish crudo had a perfect balance of acidity and texture. For the main course, we had the rigatoni pasta and the snapper fish of the day. The rigatoni was cooked to perfection, coated in a rich and flavorful sauce that left us savoring every bite. The snapper was fresh, tender, and expertly prepared, showcasing the quality of ingredients and skill of the kitchen. A true highlight of the meal was the special baked/fried potato served as a side dish. This was, without a doubt, one of the best potato preparations we have ever had—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and packed with incredible flavor. It was the perfect accompaniment to our mains. Post Restaurant delivers an elevated dining experience with outstanding food, warm hospitality, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal in Perth. We can’t wait to return!

Loved this place. The staff were lovely as well as the valets who greeted us on arrival and directed us to Post. Very 5 * which s rare these days. Good Italian fare, beautifully presented. Cocktails were yum too. My only issue was the wood tables, no placemat or tablecloth at lunch but noted in situ for dinner.

Ah, Post. My go-to for any occasion big or small. From birthdays, to anniversaries, to Father’s Day and sunny Sunday afternoons, there is always something to celebrate here. Tasteful decor and cozy atmosphere feature as highlights of the Post experience, with every spot feeling apt for an intimate dining experience. The waitstaff have incredible knowledge of their food and drinks and can easily make great recommendations for menu pairings. I recently tried out their cocktail menu which is creative and high quality. Additionally, they have an extensive wine list with any variety your heart could desire. In terms of food, one cannot go wrong with any dish. Ingredients I’ve felt unsure about such as raw fish have been so skilfully prepared that they have become favourites of mine. All of the pasta is beyond delicious and the meat cooked to perfection each and every time. In my many visits to this lovely restaurant nestled within the gorgeous heritage state buildings, I have yet to encounter anything short of divine. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. See you again soon!

I love the building and the atmosphere of this place. So classy, presentable, and nostalgic. Our breakfast was OK. We loved the coffee, vegetable & fruit juice. However, my omelette was a little dry and simple. The mushrooms and bacon were a little dry, too. There's certainly room for improvement. The service is amazing. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We will come back for lunch or dinner and try their dishes.

A lovely tucked away spot in the State Buildings precinct that was perfect for a quiet breakfast. They didn’t bat an eye when I asked if they could handle gluten and dairy free breakfast and it was super tasty! Got a little confused finding the entrance as the sign outside made me think I entered from the street directly, but you just need to go into the State Buildings entrance and it’s there on the right.

Booked for a birthday and did the degustation menu. Wen, our server, was incredible, knowledgeable and great company. Absolute 10/10 and would recommend. We will be back for celebrations.

We visited on a quiet and rainy day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Chef Matias not only cooked wonderfully but also welcomed us with great care and dedication, kindly explaining each dish in detail, thanks for all the chefs. A truly warm and good experience. Highly recommend!

Breakfast at Post, located within COMO The Treasury, was an excellent way to start the day. The three-course morning menu felt refined yet balanced, offering a healthy selection throughout. The grilled dishes were simple and honest in flavour, allowing the quality of the ingredients to stand out. The interior design is equally impressive, set within a beautifully restored heritage space that enhances the overall dining experience. Overall, it was a highly satisfying breakfast experience.
